Zero tolerance for errors - New article in OBJEKTspektrum about quality at otto.de

What is this article about?

How do you manage dozens of live deployments per week on one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Europe? To be able to permanently deliver new features and fixes, one essential ingredient is needed: automated quality. With our story of a bug, we follow a concrete bug fix on otto.de in this article and give practical tips for quality in agile software development.

In the July/August 2014 issue of OBJEKTspektrum, we published an article on the topic of "Quality" in which we describe how we keep the software quality on otto.de permanently high and are thus able to quickly bring changes to the platform into production.

OBJEKTspektrum writes a great editorial on this topic: "[...] only when everyone is proud of their work results can quality be achieved in such a difficult product as software.

The article is on the publishing house side under http://bit.ly/1NX4FwA individually purchaseable. The entire magazine is also available there, or in well-stocked magazine stores.

[Update: 11.08.2014] The article is now also available as a free download.
