In the interview you can get to know Ann-Christin better. She is a Junior HR Manager and responsible for the selection of new colleagues in BI and Online Marketing as well as the recruitment of new working students.
I was born and raised in Hamburg. After graduating from high school here, I went to Australia as an au pair for a year and was able to gain a lot of experience and language skills. And afterwards I was very happy to start my apprenticeship as a wholesale and export merchant at OTTO. Already through my first practical assignment in the training team, I learned to love the diversity of the HR department. In 2020, after my apprenticeship, I was taken on in the recruitment department, where I am responsible for recruiting working students, among other things.
What excites me about OTTO is that you can make a lot of things happen through your own initiative. I already noticed this during my apprenticeship and it has continued throughout my time at OTTO. Regardless of whether you're an apprentice, intern, working student or permanent employee - no distinctions are made and you're considered an equal team member.
I pay particular attention to whether you show yourself as you really are and drop the facade, so to speak. I look forward to concrete examples and experiences from the past that we interview participants can use to flesh out our image of you.
Authenticity and self-reflection are two important points for me. Show me authentically who you really are and that you are ready to engage in our feedback culture, to work on yourself and to develop yourself further.
