About me
We are Team Jarvis, part of OTTO’s Findability department. Our mission is to make product search both relevant and effortless – always with the goal of maximizing customer satisfaction. We build Learning to Rank models ranging from Gradient Boosted Trees to Deep Neural Networks. Our interdisciplinary team, composed of Data Scientists, Engineers, Analysts, and Product Managers, collaborates closely to develop, improve, test, and ship ranking models that have real impact. Functional programming with Clojure forms the backbone of our reliable and efficient systems, while continuous onsite testing drives our progress towards better search relevance.
